All our stab proof vests comply to the minimum specification developd by the HOSDB (The Home Office Scientific Development Branch). No stab vest is stab proof it is only stab resistant to the stated level of energy necessary to puncture it. The Home Office have stipulated levels which a stab vest should withstand. A small number of manufacturers have submitted their stab proof vests to the Home Office for testing - All the stab proof vests we supply have been certified by the Home Office.

Each Stab Vest panel will come with a protection certificate certifying the panels protection levels and will also include a UK Home Office certificate on the vest. We only deal with Kevlar® protective panels in our stab proof vests because Kevlar is the only protective material that has passed the standard of time. Kevlar® only degrades by being subject to extreme temperatures and direct UV sunlight, which none of our vests have. The UK Police treat their equipment better then any other force in the world.
